Synopsis: Hong Kong writer-director Matt Chow fashions a charmingly goofy tale of unexpected love between two oddball outsiders in his frothy romantic comedy THE ATTRACTIVE ONE. Hugo (Ching Wan Lau, RUNNING OUT OF TIME) is a gruff restaurant owner whose large facial birthmark has dampened his social skills. Yammie (Cantonese pop star Joey Yung) is a shy dog groomer with a hormonal imbalance that causes her to sprout a moustache. When the two meet and bond over their shared deformities, Yammie enlists Hugo's help in tracking down her childhood sweetheart, Tim (Spirit Blue).
